We have a new addition to our stables. This has been bubbling under the surface for a few weeks so we are stoked to finally announce that Dirty Management is looking after Opensouls!

An outstanding band with a plethora of local musical talent, Opensouls are a group of 7 core members with a few extra comers and goers, making a sound quite like any other in NZ today. Check out their video for Turn It Up here:



They'll be doing great things next year and of course we'll be keeping you updating with all the information you need.

For Mr Dallas's new tunes, the wait is nearly over...

The boys have been hard at work in the studio cooking up a little something.

On December 8th a tide-you-over EP called 'Something Now' will be released digitally to all you lucky sods via itunes. The following week it will be available on our other digital partners; Amplifier, Digirama, Vodafone and Telecom.
The title is a take on Dave's upcoming solo debut album, 'Something Awesome', which will be released in mid 2009.

The 'Something Now' EP will feature the following tracklisting:

Dark Times Video Release Party

For all those in Auckland on December 13th, make sure you come along to Coherent. Bulletproof and Tiki are performing to celebrate both Cyanide Records 9th birthday, and the release of the 'Dark Times' video, featuring Tiki, off the 'Dark Times, Desperate Measures' LP.

The video will be going to TV in a couple of weeks, but to tide you over, here's a sneak peek:

Preview of 'Faded' on C4 tonight

Tune in to C4 Special Features tonight at 8.30pm if you happen to be home on a Friday night... C4 is showing the premiere of Tiki's documentary followed by the brand new clip for 'Faded', filmed in Rarotonga in August. Warren Green takes the helm and Tiki and P Digsss star in it.

Vince Harder's first single! Strobelight...

Check it out... Vince, who lends his fabulous vocals to P-Money's killer tune 'Everything' is set to hit the radio airwaves with his own first single, 'Strobelight', a tune indicative of Vince's style of pop/soul/rnb.

After 3 1/2 years in Australia, Vince has come home to NZ to make his mark here in the music industry. He has a pretty impressive resume already, including playing "Simba" in "The Lion King" in Sydney and coming 3rd place on Channel Tens "The X-Factor".
Definitely a man to keep an ear out for!

The South beckons this weekend...

We are heading down to Christchurch tomorrow to check out Southern Amp on Sunday, at Westpac Stadium.
From our lot, Tiki, Concord Dawn and State Of Mind are playing but the lineup is huge and its all undercover this year so even it if rains... which it won't... we won't need umbrellas!

State Of Mind - Space Surfer Video

Here it is finally... the brand new video from the guys' second album, due out in March.

The track is called Space Surfer and Aleks Sakowski again directed the video. Visually captivating is the only way to describe this video!

Australia loves Pedro also, and Bulletproof's video looks outstanding....

In fact they love him so much that he is the # 1 Most Added track at Australian radio this week.

Their take on it was:
"P Money can do no wrong with his infectious new rappin' dance track, Everything - its twisting, twirling hooks have made radio froth at the mouth after the NOVA network handed out a nationwide addition and the ACE FM network got behind it too. Add the Edge96.ONE plus a string of regional additions and it was an easy win for the NZ born DJ. Everything zoomed up the Kiwi charts to reach the top spot and was the most played tune on NZ airwaves and it looks set to do much the same on Aussie shores. This is a killer track so expect to see even more momentum in the coming weeks!"

Some more news for today is the first screenshots we've seen of Bulletproof's video, 'Dark Times', featuring Tiki. Looks like we'll be having a video release party for this in early December, we'll keep you updated on that, but in the meantime here's a sneaky peek:
